Husqvarna: Vitpilen 701 AERO concept awarded at the "Best of Best Automotive Brand Contest" [PHOTO]

La Vitpilen 701 AERO concept, made by Husqvarna Motorcycles in collaboration with the Austrian studio KISKA, was awarded in the category “Motorcycles” to the edition 2019 of the competition “Best of Best Automotive Brand Contest”. An international design comparison promoted by the independent German institution German Design Council.

It is not the first triumph for a prototype designed by Husqvarna Motorcycles e KISKA. Already there Vitpilen 701 concept, before the series model was launched on the market together with the vitpilen 401, won a iF Design Award in the edition 2016 of iF Product Design Awards.

The concept

Introduced to2018 edition di EICMA, Vitpilen 701 AERO concept it is the result of a collaboration between the brand and the Austrian design studio KISKA. The connotative aspects of the Vitpilen range can be understood, projecting the vision forward, meeting more specific needs. A sporty vision linked to the fairing, blending contemporary stylistic features with references to the past.
The project is linked to a high-performance single-cylinder unit, hypothesizing possible production implications regarding road sports cars. The position is low and concentrated, with the clear aim of leading the driver to "immerse himself" in a new driving experience. An alchemy of performance, character and refined design, rethinking a certain tradition.
An award that highlights the brand's results in terms of design and communication, as reported.
