It is not a certainty, but only the supposition of some sources, who let the indiscretion leak like wildfire: the rumor that the Swedish motorcycle manufacturer, owned by the BMW Group, namely Husqvarna, would be in the process of developing and bringing it into the world three new models, which will fill the company's range starting next year (therefore, the presentation could probably take place during one of the events at the end of 2011: the Eicma in Milan or the Intermot in Cologne).

According to the rumor, Husqvarna is making a new engine, derived from the Rotax of 800 cubic centimeters of displacement, currently present on the shelf of the motorcycle manufacturer: it is a larger engine (the displacement, in fact, could rise up to 900 cubic centimeters), composed of only two cylinders, arranged in a parallel position. As regards the nature of these three new motorcycles, the rumor has not clarified the segment they belong to (hypothetically, as per company tradition, the new Husqvarnas could also be enduro o supermoto).

Finally, it seems that the BMW Group company is using the same stylistic language as the concept for the three new models Husqvarna Mille3, presented at the 2010 Milan Motor Show (i.e. theEICMA of last November): from the prototype, therefore, the pencil, the line will be developed, which could mix influences also coming from the concept Husqvarna STRDesigned by Massimo Tamburini. A renewal that is not only mechanical, therefore, but also aesthetic, which we will have to wait until next year to understand.
