Husqvarna Norden 901: introduced a model designed to venture beyond the asphalt [PHOTO]

A reference to the Rally models of Husqvarna Motorcycles. A motorcycle with functional features for traveling and venturing even off traditional roads. We talk about the norden 901.

The specimen

Shown in its final guise, this motorbike has functional features to cover long distances and tackle even challenging stretches. A compact and versatile model, characterized by an aesthetic reminiscent of concept introduced at the EICMA show in 2019.
We highlight an optional Connectivity Unit through which, for example, turn-by-turn navigation is available, furthermore the tank can hold 19 liters of fuel.
The engine, which appears as a stressed element, is embraced by a chrome-molybdenum steel trellis frame, this is combined with WP APEX adjustable suspension and there is mention of a wide travel. The braking system is assisted by a Bosch Cornering ABS, which can also be deactivated, with two operating modes, Street and Offroad. It also features tubeless spoked wheels, a front one from 21 inches and a back from 18 inches, which wear Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires. Wheels that allow you to cross and disengage from various obstacles, making them functional even on asphalt.

Husqvarna Norden 901 is equipped with three riding modes Street, Rain e Offroad, plus one optional Explorer mode which allows the rider to better manage the gear in different situations. Also highlighted is the presence of a Husqvarna Motorcycles (MTC) cornering traction control, advanced in the context of off-road operation logics.
The propulsive heart is a parallel twin 899 cc, characterized by a double countershaft that attenuates vibrations to a minimum. The power amounts to 105 horses with 100 Nm of couple.
There is also an Easy Shift quickshifter system which allows you to engage the six gears without using the clutch, as well as a PASC (Power Assist Slipper Clutch) torque-assisted anti-slipper clutch which takes care of controlling the rear wheel.

Available from December

La norden 901 di Husqvarna Motorcycles will be available since December 2021 at authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles dealers. The price will be announced in the coming weeks, as indicated on the occasion.
