Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition: a motorcycle for those seeking new horizons

The new Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition it is a model aimed at those who love traveling and experiencing experiences on two wheels. Along with a new color scheme, the model features Technical Accessories that accentuate its versatility and technical qualities.

Features

The tank of this specimen can contain 19 liters of fuel and an autonomy of up to 400 km is expected, based on the indications. Also highlighted is a "heavy duty" protection to protect the tank and engine.
The solutions include: ABS Cornering with Offroad mode and can be deactivated; anti-slipper clutch operated in pairs PASC (Power Assist Slipper Clutch) and Quickshifter “Easy Shift”, four riding modes with the possibility to choose between Street, Rain, Offroad, Explorer; therefore Traction Control Cornering manageable on nine levels in the Explorer riding mode.


The frame is made of chrome-molybdenum steel and embraces the engine which acts as a stressed element. The suspension part is made up of WP XPLOR suspensions with increased travel, these are WP XPLOR solutions specific for off-road. The fork is characterized by a diameter of 48 mm with 240 mm of travel, the same value as the rear area. The suspensions are adjustable and allow you to choose the compression and rebound behavior, also acting on the preload to define a customized setup.
The model is also equipped with tubeless spoked wheels that fit Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires that are functional on the road and off-road surfaces.
The engine is a 889cc parallel twin and the power reaches altitude 105 horses, while the couple 100 Nm.

The specimen features some as standard Technical Accessories from the Husqvarna Motorcycles catalogue, considering a new Touring windshield which, by channeling the air flow around the vehicle and in particular at high speeds, facilitates protection and reduces fatigue, as well as heated grips and seat for the rider.
The scope of delivery also includes a Connectivity Unit. Through the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app, installed on a smartphone and associated via Bluetooth to the Connectivity Unit, among other functions it is possible to use Turn-by-Turn+ navigation even offline.

The bike also features a new skid plate, a central stand and a soft side bag kit, a transport system integrated into the superstructure of the model, obtaining up to 36 liters of load capacity.
