Husqvarna, from the road to the Concept Strada

Husqvarna, from the road to the Concept StradaHusqvarna, from the road to the Concept Strada

It is young people that Husqvarna has thought of when creating the Concept Strada. Lightness on the one hand (170 kilograms dry) and aggression on the other (those lines so not very soft they say it all) for a motorbike powered by a 650cc engine. This is an old acquaintance of the BMW world. The single-cylinder has already been seen at work on the F Series and has now been adapted for the new G 650 GS.

Congenial for urban use, the Concept Strada will be completed with a wide range of accessories. You can discover it in every detail at the next edition of Paris Moto Show together with the Nuda 900R, soon available in dealerships around the world. The market launch, however, is expected in 2012. The manufacturer, however, does not specify the period.

BMW, the main shareholder of the brand founded at the end of the seventeenth century for the production of muskets for the Swedish army since 2007, also invites us to think about the Concept Moab, another example with which Husqvarna Motorcycles aims "to expand its range, offering all fans of this legendary Italian brand and beyond, a new series of road models." The latest addition from Husqvarna should be positioned in one more affordable price range compared to the models that preceded it. There Nude 900, for example, which can already be pre-ordered on the web, is offered at 9.990 euros for the basic version and 11.590 for the R version. In this case, however, we are looking at a one hundred percent road motorcycle equipped with a 105 horsepower parallel twin-cylinder .
