Husqvarna EICMA 2014 – Husqvarna has announced that it will present three new street-legal motorcycles at the next edition of the EICMA in Milan, which will open its gates on November 4th. As confirmed by the Swedish motorcycle manufacturer itself, a model will already be ready for the production, while the other two are gods prototypes which indicate where the brand's gaze is aimed in the imminent future.

The new model in production will use a large displacement single-cylinder engine, probably on the basis of 690 Duke from Husqvarna's parent company, LA KTM. Husqvarna said the new model will offer the technology state-of-the-art, while remaining faithful to the spirit of the brand.
The Swedish motorcycle manufacturer is even more vague when talking about its two prototypes, of which it said only that “They will showcase lightness and functionality, top-notch hardware and uncompromising design.”

The new model will be the Husqvarna's first pure street bike since KTM CEO Stefan Pierer acquired the BMW brand. Husqvarna previously produced the TR650 Terra e Strada and the Naked 900 and 900R, but all still with technology belonging to BMW and not included in sales. Husqvarna is expected to present the three models to the press on 4th November, even if from the day before there could be some pre-shows that will accompany the three motorcycles towards the great catwalk of the EICMA in Milan 2014 edition.
