Husqvarna 900, here are the first sketches

The new naked Husqvarna 900 is starting to take shape at least in the drafts of the designers of the Italian-Swedish company who, with the help of BMW, will launch the new 900cc two-wheeler in the near future. It seems that the bike could be ready in time for November, when it will be time to present it at the next show ofEICMA. With over 100 horsepower it will be the first large-displacement motorcycle built by Husqvarna which spread the first official sketches which give a glimpse of what the new creature will be like.

There is a lot of anticipation about this new bike which takes shape in the first rendering. There Husqvarna 900 shows similarities with current off-road vehicles, especially in the shape of the saddle which draws a soft curve connecting to the tank.

From these first drawings you can see the tubular trellis frame, accompanied by a simple and robust chassis. The engine on this naked will be that of the BMW F800GS, increased to 900 cubic centimeters. By the end of 2011 the Husqavarna 900 will be presented to the general public to attack its rival KTM in off-road racing.
