HP Corse SP-1 Short: a high-pass exhaust for Moto Morini X-Cape

A refined solution from an aesthetic point of view, simple which also recalls that used in African rallies, reinterpreting a tradition through minimalist lines and a low weight. Based on the comparison with an original exhaust for Moto Morini with Decatalyst + Silencer of 8.200 gr., in this case the HP Corse exhaust composed of SP-1 SHORT muffler + Decatalyst is 2.650 gr.

The oval-shaped exhaust has a conical bottom and a terminal spout, inside there is a removable cylindrical shaped dbk without welding in the bend corner, favoring the outflow of exhaust gases. With the 300 mm length and the “high pass”, this exhaust is proposed for Moto Morini

Regarding the decatalyst, manually satinised low thickness stainless steel is used, with curves defined by CNC tube bending and welding done manually with pulsed TIG. A non-homologated solution with calibrated couplings and a terminal assembly and disassembly system with springs and reinforced support bracket, mutally welded to a pilato TIP, as well as a carbon fiber heat shield cover with HP Corse writing. The Moto Morini X-Cape is a model designed for exploration, powered by a twin-cylinder engine 649 cc. The power reaches altitude 60 horses, which can also be limited to 48 horsepower.
