Honda Wander Walker: the mobility of the future is made in Japan
We saw it at the last Tokyo Motor Show
Honda Wander Walker – In Japan, things are going well and often at the Tokyo Motor Show we have been able to see very different concepts from those showcased in Geneva or Detroit. An example is the new Honda Wander Walker seen at the last Japanese event.
Despite the name, the Wander Walker is obviously a four-wheeled scooter that could be driven in some futuristic metropolis. The front wheels turn close to 90 degrees, with just one meter of steering. The impressive maneuverability thus makes it a privileged solution for mobility in the urban streets of Tokyo, a fact reinforced by its slim line, with a width of 21,25 inches. This format allows the new Honda Walker to pass through the turnstiles of Japan's ultra-efficient subway network. Furthermore, its engine is almost certainly electric.
Yesterday, two new photos and the following message appeared on Honda Auto Italia's Facebook profile"The Wander Walker concept is designed with an eye towards the city of the future. Its extremely compact design and innovative steering system allow it to easily navigate even the narrowest streets. The extra gear? The tablet that acts both as a display and as a vehicle key. "
