After the first official teaser, today the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Honda has released a second image of the new motorcycle which will be one of the protagonists inside the Japanese manufacturer's pavilion at the 2010 International Cycle and Motorcycle Show, the Eicma in Milan, which will take place over the next week. Do you remember? It will be called Honda VFR Adventure Bike Concept and is built on the basis of the Honda VFR1200F, but also inspired by the new CBRs, which were announced and presented a few weeks ago.

What is it about? No, it is not a motorcycle dedicated to off-road, but rather a comfortable tourist one. This, at least, is what we seem to understand from Honda's official press release related to today's image: “This mid-range motorcycle will have an interesting approach. It will have the flexibility and exciting attitude of a high-performance naked bike, with a more comfortable riding position and adventure-inspired design. With the low center of gravity of a high-performance motorcycle, it will be great fun to ride and, thanks to the wide handlebars and upright riding position, it will be as easily maneuverable as it is comfortable.”

Simply put, a mixture of elements taken from different types of two-wheelers, with an engine of 800 cubic centimeters of displacement. Yes, you understood correctly: the engine of the new Honda VFR Adventure Bike Concept will not be the same as the Honda VFR1200F. And it will be equipped with VCM technology, Variable Cylinder Management, which will allow, depending on the driving conditions, to travel using only part of the cylinders (four) available. For the rest, everything is still hidden in the shadows: the air will smell of mystery only until Tuesday of next week.
