A museum located in the Japanese circuit of Twin Ring Motegi contains the largest collection of signed products Honda. An exhibition of over 300 specimens. It is about “Honda Collection Hall” (HCH ONLY) and the models can now be observed online through a 360° virtual tour.

A story that starts from Years' 40 thanks to Soichiro Honda. He installs the engine of a radio generator on his wife's bicycle, to facilitate travel. In 1946 he developed this concept and began selling engines equipped with tank, accelerator, cables and components to be connected to any model of bicycle. And this solution becomes known as Honda engine for bicycles. In 1948, just two years later, Soichiro founded Honda Motor Company.

Three levels

Inaugurated on completion of 50 anniversary of Honda, in 1998, the museum was developed to bring interested parties closer to the world of Honda and what inspired production. The initiative highlighted on the occasion has been taken “to give anyone the chance to admire the Motegi collection in a new way and make their stay at home even more pleasant”, considering the current emergency.
A virtual tour that offers the sensation of actually entering the rooms and discovering or rediscovering the history of the house, through the most representative examples over a period of just over seventy years. It is possible to explore the three floors of the museum and the works displayed, comfortably from your home.
Specifically, the second floor includes the area where cars, motorbikes and power products are present. For example, the first four-wheeled "compact sports car", the S500 from 1963, but also other iconic models such as Prelude, NSX e Civic, with an overview of the evolution of the automotive sector in the Land of the Rising Sun. In particular, mini-cars can also be observed kei car, which have and continue to attract considerable interest in Japan. Historical and representative models such as Honda N360, the first mini-car in series starting from 1967, while on the motorcycle side there is no shortage of the legendary CB750, first two-wheeled example with four-cylinder unit made in series and the model NR with oval piston, as mentioned.
On the third floor the so-called “racing soul” di Honda, in which the single-seater, GT and racing motorcycle linked to the manufacturer. Among the most representative are the six-cylinder motorcycle RC166 winner on numerous occasions in the legendary Tourist trophy of the Isle of Man with Mike Hailwood and the unforgettable McLaren – Honda driven by Ayrton Senna.
