Honda Riding Assist-E – The house of the golden wing will present the latest evolution of the "assisted balancing" motorcycle at the Tokyo Motor Show.

It's not exactly an absolute novelty for Honda, which has been working for some time on the project of a motorcycle capable of self-stabilizing at low speeds.
The bike was further developed thanks to research on the Asimo robot, essentially the "thinking" brain of the bike. By automatically maintaining balance at low speeds, it helps the rider reduce fatigue and maximize safety. The motorcycle is powered by an electric motor.

At the moment no technical details have been announced and above all it is not yet known whether the new bike, like the previous one, finds balance by automatically moving the handlebars or whether it is equipped with other technology, but looking at the dashboard it seems that the innovations must be looked for elsewhere points of the motorbike. From the photos you can see that unlike the old version which was based on the NC750S, this one has a completely new shape, with a tubular frame and cardan transmission. The technical details will presumably be released during the presentation on October 27th at the Tokyo Motor Show.

Honda is ever closer to realizing its vision: “enjoying the freedom of mobility in a hydrocarbon-free society”.
