Honda RedMoto, CRF 150R Minimotard: a lively project in small size

With an agreement between Honda RedMoto and the very young company HRM Factory of Legnano, compact ones are available CRF150R version minimotard, in limited quantities and “race ready”.

The motorcycle

Each specimen is delivered “track ready” with punched engine to be run in. The example has a closed cradle steel frame and among the accessories we highlight: closed handguards with Ufo Plast metal core, Teflon damage-prevention pads on the front and rear axle, Ufo Plast motard front mudguard, vibrating hour meter resettable, therefore a Ufo Plast liquid recovery tray.
The handlebar is a low-bend PBR and there are also ergal footrests machined from solid, raised, height-adjustable and foldable, with integrated pad. The 43-tooth chainring by PBR and the chain adjusters machined from solid material are also made of ergal.

The chassis part includes a front suspension made up of a 37 mm Showa upside-down fork with specific coil springs, with HRM Factory "asphalt" height and calibration, then a rear suspension made up of a pro-link swingarm with triple adjustment Showa shock absorber with dedicated spring. Also in this case the height and "asphalt" calibration are HRM Factory.
The braking system features a 230 mm floating disc at the front with a complete Formula system and radial caliper with 4 opposed pistons, as well as aeronautical piping. Behind it is another 190 mm floating disc with Nissin system.
The rims are in light alloy, the front 2.50-12" type and the rear 3.00-12". Fits 120/80 and 100/90 radial PMT Tires with S compound.
The engine is a single cylinder Honda 4T 149 cc liquid cooled. The maximum power reaches i 23 horses and the couple 1,4 Kgm.

Considering the sports experience, HRM Factory has defined a performance product in the respective category, without further modifications by the customer according to indications. The role of prestigious suppliers in the development of assembled components is also important. With the official status of HRM Factory, we are thinking about the development of a specific "STOCK" trophy which promises for 2023 a ranking dedicated to the riders of the Minimotard category who will take part in the series with standard engines, stamped and managed directly by the "Factory" Lombarda, at advantageous prices, based on what has been reported.
Together with the realization of CRF 150R Minimotard, HRM Factory also takes care of the distribution and marketing of the model.
