The implementation of the European driving license regulations, in force for those who obtain it from 19 January 2013, brings great news for motorcyclists and scooter riders. It was in particular the driving license A2 to receive the greatest attention from the legislator, who has in fact raised the maximum power limit from the previous 25 kW to the current 35 kW, provided that the model is not derived from another whose maximum power is greater than 70 kW.

Since last year, Honda has introduced new models designed with exactly this power, 35 kW, equal to almost 48 HP. Therefore, not detuned bikes, but equipped with engines designed specifically to express themselves with perfect output for this power limit. These are the twin cylinders NC700X  ed NC700S, the latter with 35 kW also in the version with the innovative sequential dual-clutch gearbox, and both with C-ABS as standard and a compartment for a full-face helmet.

But not only that, the arrival of the new Hondas in dealerships is imminent CB500F, CBR500R and CB500X, naked, sports and crossover respectively, equipped with the new 500cc twin-cylinder engine also capable of a maximum power of 35 kW.

But in the Honda range there are many motorcycles with power adequate for the new maximum limit set for the A2 license. The agile single-cylinder CBR250R e CRF250L, sports and enduro models with 19,4 and 17 kW, the custom ones Shadow 750 C-ABS e Black Spirit 750, and the roadster VT750S, all equipped with the generous 33,5 kW V-twin engine.

Honda also pays special attention to the many users and enthusiasts of scooter who require an A2 license to drive automatics with a displacement of more than 125cc. The 150cc range is in fact made up of the best-sellers SH150i ABS and very agile PCX150, both with Start&Stop and compartment for the full-face helmet, fantastic SH300i and from the new Forza 300 C-ABS, arriving at dealers in spring. But not only that, with its 28,7 kW you can also jump on theSW-T400, the only twin-cylinder in the category, while for those who want the thrill of motorcycling, despite having obtained an "automatic" licence, with its 35 kW there is the exceptional NC700S with dual clutch sequential gearbox, C-ABS as standard and front compartment for full-face helmet.

The 125cc range for owners is wider than ever A1 (or B) driving license, with the all-rounder CBF125 and the sporty CBR125R, which will be joined in spring by the 'Mini Street X-treme' MSX125. Absolute freedom of choice, then, for owners of the "automatic" A1 license, with the Vision110, the new and already famous SH125i ABS and the fascinating PCX125.

Finally, the moped license becomes "AM”, and 14-year-olds can choose between the very sporty new NSC50R and the exceptional Vision50.

It goes without saying that whoever will achieve the driving license A (A3), both for motorbikes and "automatic", you will be able to count on an incredibly wide range: from the ingenious NC700X with dual clutch sequential gearbox to the sumptuous Gold Wing, passing through the phenomenal Integra, you are spoiled for choice.
