Stylistic and technological evolution

The scooter Honda PCX125 it features a refined and streamlined style combined with further practicality, considering a larger under-seat compartment of 2,4 liters for a total 30,4 liters.

Various colors reported including Matt Dim Gray Metallic, Pearl Jasmine White, Candy Luster Red, Matt Galaxy Black Metallic, as well as a renewed design of the headlights LED and a new “widescreen” instrument cluster with cluster LCD with “negative” backlighting. The tubular steel frame has also been redefined with longer travel suspension at the rear and oversized tyres: 110/70-14 at the front and 130/70-13 at the rear, compared to the previous 100/80-14 and 120/70-14.
The wheelbase is slightly more extended by 2 mm for a total of 1.315 mm, the steering geometry also changes with the inclination of the headstock now 26° 30' and a trail figure of 86 mm, as reported. In the technical framework there is a fork with 31 mm stanchions and 89 mm wheel travel, while the shock absorbers behind acquire 10 mm more travel, reaching 95 mm, equipped with harder springs. Therefore the braking system with ABS anti-lock system on the front wheel is composed of a 220 mm disc with 2-piston caliper at the front, while at the rear there is a 130 mm drum brake. The picture is completed by new rims combined with the aerodynamic fairing, with a diameter of the rear rim reduced to 13 inches.
There is also 30 mm more space for legs and feet at the front and sides, as well as a USB-C socket in the glove compartment and the use of a Smart Key to manage the ignition and locking of the saddle. The seat is placed at a height of 764 mm.

Motor

The enhanced Smart Power (eSP+) single-shaft engine Euro 5 liquid-cooled four-valve engine is more powerful than the previous unit, developing 12,5 horses (9,2 kW) at 8.750 rpm and a torque of 11,8 Nm at 6.500 rpm. Energy to be considered against a curb weight of 130 kg. Another interesting aspect is the introduction of traction control HSTC extension (Honda Selectable Torque Control).
