Honda NT1100: the new "touring-crossover" at EICMA 2021 [LIVE PHOTOS]

Honda NT1100 it's a new concept “touring-crossover” developed for traveling on two wheels. A technological model present at the 78th edition of EICMA, the International Two Wheel Exhibition.

The specimen

A functional and refined style that includes full-LED lights and automatic DRL system, as well as directional indicators with automatic deactivation and flashing function, in the event of emergency braking. The aerodynamic sections can be covered in three colors: Graphite Black, Matte Iridium Gray Metallic e Pearl Glare White.
The windscreen can be adjusted to five positions and there are also deflectors on the fairing and fairing for aerodynamic protection. The session is present at 820 mm from the ground and also lists: cruise control, USB and ACC sockets, heated grips, central stand and side cases for transporting objects and accessories.
The dashboard includes a touch screen TFT in color from 6,5 inches, which can be connected to Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto® systems and via Bluetooth®.
Together with the solutions already mentioned, the bike presents a latest generation electronic package which includes a Throttle by Wire throttle control and engine management linked to three pre-set Riding Modes, choosing between Tour, Urban or Rain and two other customizable ones, including HSTC traction control and antiwheelie levels.

Setting

The chassis is defined to support overall efficiency on the road, fluidity of movement, dynamic liveliness, also given a relatively limited wheelbase.
Honda NT1100 It features a semi-double cradle steel frame, which is associated with an aluminum seat support frame. The tank can include 20 liters.
The structure is combined with a Showa SFF-BP fork and a shock absorber, with adjustable spring preload and hydraulic management, with knob, in the rear area. The suspensions have increased travel from 150 mm. The braking system includes modular solutions with 4-piston radial-mount calipers and discs 310 mm in front of. The wheels are equipped with 120/70-17" and 180/55-17" tires.

Thruster

The model features a parallel twin-cylinder heart 1.084 cc. The power reaches a peak of 102 horses and the couple vertex is equal to 104 Nm. A specific tuning of intake and exhaust is highlighted, depending on shooting and shooting, as well as reporting a distinctive tone. A version equipped with a dual-clutch gearbox is also offered DCT.
