Honda: the CRF range gets a new look, the 2020 versions arrive

The changes to the engine lead to a 4% increase in power and an 8% increase in torque, thanks to a new cylinder head, a new piston and new routes for the intake and exhaust ducts. The camshaft profiles are also new. Interventions were also made on reporting. The weight has been reduced with the introduction of the new frame and new swingarm, the former more flexible and the latter more rigid. The rear brake has been specially developed to increase longevity and performance, eliminating the need for a rear disc cover. New 2020 graphics make it immediately recognisable. There CRF250RX 2020, whose most obvious difference is the 18" rear wheel instead of 19", features all the updates expected for the CRF250R.

Le CRF450R e CRF450RX they had already been deeply updated in the 2019 editions, for the new 2020 models the most important innovation concerns the introduction of HSTC traction control - Honda Selectable Torque Control - which works in combination with Launch Control. The system does not use wheel speed sensors, and keeps the feeling with the throttle knob very high, because ignition is delayed and injection is controlled when too sudden increases in engine speed are detected, incompatible with effective rear wheel drive. When the engine is turned off, the last setting chosen remains memorized. The device can also be deactivated. There are also: new rear brake pads, designed to improve longevity and performance, new suspension settings. The graphics are also new.
