Honda: extended warranties that expired during the containment phase of the emergency to May

In the event that the manufacturer's warranty has expired 4 years, during the last period of restrictions linked to the health emergency, Honda reassures customers through a statement. Any repairs, subject to verification, will be possible during the month of May and always in the same month it will be possible to recover the scheduled ordinary maintenance, following the instructions.

In the note sent it is noted that: “Due to the continually evolving situation regarding the infection, Honda reserves the right to update these activities every 30 days starting from May 4, 2020.” Furthermore, before going to the workshop, when possible, it is advisable to check compliance with the measures adopted at national and local level to contain the health emergency linked to the COVID-19 Coronavirus and arrange an appointment.
“Repairs of any problems will be carried out – subject to verification of compliance with the warranty conditions – during the month of May at the network of Honda Dealerships and Authorized Workshops. If these are unable to carry out repairs in May due to the overload of requests, upon their notification, Honda will evaluate further warranty extensions", is always specified in the communication. “Also in May, it will be possible to recover the ordinary maintenance required for the validity of the guarantee, if they were scheduled during the restriction period”, it is further specified on the occasion.
