The video features the HRC world champion in the Trial, Taka Fujinami; the motorbike tourist Florian and the Dakar Rally champion, Ricky Brabec. Also starring are examples of CRF1100L Africa Twin e NT1100, the brand's new Tourer.
The DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) solution is present on various models, a varied overview that ranges from the versatile HondaNC750X to performance CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports, a motorcycle made to explore far and wide.
The system DCT since 2010 it has continued to be a reference solution in the motorcycle scene, a technology designed for different types of use, from use on daily stretches to demanding long-range itineraries.
Among the interesting aspects of the system, the possibility to choose between a Manual and an Automatic mode stands out. Gear changes are facilitated by the paddles on the left handlebar block and the system is consistent given the presence of steel gears.
The mechanism uses two hydraulically managed clutches which limit the shifting times, having the previous or next ratio available.
