The panorama of large road enduros is preparing to welcome a new protagonist. It's about the Honda crosstourer ready to debut as a preview at this year's Milan Motor Show, after having been present at the last edition in the Concept version. The new Japanese road enduro is now ready to debut on the motorcycle market in 2012. From the first indications in this regard, it seems that changes have been made compared to the Concept, with additions and adjustments to both the accessories and the finishes. Honda's not so hidden objective is to try to attack the BMW R1200GS, undisputed leader in the segment.

The intention of Honda is to quickly transform this motorbike into a must for the Japanese group which will try, thanks to the value of the company brand, to regain more prestigious positions among motorbike sellers in Europe. The Honda Crosstourer will be available in two versions, classic with clutch and mechanical gearbox and with transmission DCT double clutch. The Japanese two-wheeler combines sport touring and off-road features. The engine it will mount will be the powerful one V4 of the VFR1200F, while the style and the true crossover concept interpreted in the right way will constitute the additional weapon of the new Honda, as strongly supported by the wing house.
