Honda CRF450R my 2015, continuous evolution

It has 3 engine maps and more refined suspensions like in MX1

Since its introduction in 2002 its introduction in 2002 the Honda CRF450R it combined the usability of power with maximum rider control. Allowing both professionals and amateurs to simultaneously get the best out of themselves and the bike: reliability, performance and construction quality.

A constantly evolving motorbike. The recent history of this model sees commitment in world competitions at the highest levels and so, in 2013, the CRF450R was equipped with a brand new frame characterized by maximum mass centralization, modeled around the inverted fork Air KYB, an evolutionary step designed to help pilots steer with minimal effort, on the ground and in the air during jumps. But with the new 2015 model, Honda wants to convey the same sensations of the Factory version MX1.

The 449cc single-cylinder engine was developed to have more traction at low speeds; the result was achieved by working on PGM-FI and mechanical injection. A button on the handlebar allows you to choose 3 mappings (EMSB, Engine Mode Select Button), to have the right delivery depending on the various driving contexts. The 48 mm KYB air fork is refined: it is now lighter, has less internal friction and has more accurate setting adjustments.

The semi-double-spar aluminum frame, swingarm and Pro-Link rear suspension linkage have remained unchanged, while the front brake uses a new 260mm wave disc which replaces the previous 240 mm. New graphics for the superstructures and aggressive Dunlop MX52 tires complete the 2015 innovations of the CRF450R which is now the closest to the Factory bikes of Team HRC Honda.
