Honda CRF450R is an extreme off-road motorcycle that has imposed its own image, linking itself to successes obtained in years of racing on the Supercross and World Motocross tracks, but also in more particular places such as in the SuperMoto categories, in the Enduro World Championship and even in rougher competitions, such as the Paris-Dakar.

Honda CRF450R combines overall lightness and power, reliability in use and performance, with great handling. However, even an eternal peter-pan like this two-wheeler cannot fail to comply with the most recent regulations: the manufacturer has therefore imposed that a 2011 version be created.

The new Honda CRF450R 2011 has been adapted to the FIM decalogue on noise, adopted by the European community, and has consequently been subjected to a reduction in the decibel rate produced: all this has been possible by lengthening the exhaust, also updated with a muffler more capacious, with a new design of the air filter and with a more careful study of the lateral fairing.

The remaining part of the improvements concludes with the remapping of the ECU, which has allowed the flow of power at mid-range to be re-adjusted, as well as with a throttle body of new proportions. The new 450 Honda CRF2011R is equipped with the same liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with 449,7 cubic centimeters of displacement, which delivers 55 horsepower and 50 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.

Nothing is known about the price change that will be - if it will be - resulting from this technical change for 2011, nor when the new 450 Honda CRF2011R will be marketed.
