A 'dual-purpose' motorcycle that promises excellent performance both off-road and in everyday use
Honda, on the occasion of EICMA 2018, presented the new 450 XR Dual, a 'dual-purpose' motorcycle that promises excellent performance both off-road and in everyday use.
The 4 cc Euro 449 engine comes from the CRF450RX but with several updates. The weight of the shaft has been increased to increase its inertia, which translates into a more 'docile' engine but with good torque and traction. Maximum power is estimated at around 25HP. The timing of the distribution has been revised to provide a wider and more uniform power delivery. The gearbox has 6 speeds instead of 5
The CRF450 The braking system consists of a 49mm wave disc, 260-piston caliper at the front and a 2mm wave disc, single-piston caliper at the rear.
Honda CRF450 XR is also available in the Supermoto version with 17'' wheels.
