Honda CRF250 Rally – The Honda CRF250 Rally, revealed in March in concept guise, looks set to launch in production form very soon. The Japanese brand has, in fact, just registered the name "CRF250 Rally" in Europe, which suggests that there would be plans to use this name commercially on a showroom model as well.

Since the original concept was effectively just a standard CRF250L with a body that was meant to mimic the CRF450 Rally, used in Dakar, there should be no investment to create a mass release. As well as the brand, Honda has also filed the design patents for the bike, therefore computer-generated CAD/CAM drawings that show a couple of differences compared to the original concept. In particular, the images show the CRF250L's patented street-legal exhaust, rather than the racing version of the concept, as well as brakes, mirrors and several bars.

When will the bike be launched? This is not known with certainty, but as always EICMA could give us some surprises. Then meet us at the Milan-Rho fair on November 17th.
