Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin – Honda Motor Europe has unveiled a new and unique way to view its new twin-cylinder maxienduro, the Honda Africa Twin app, which uses CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) technology. It's about an advanced 3D modeling and augmented reality technique which allows you to use your smartphone to get a detailed view of all versions of Africa Twin (standard, ABS and DCT) in four colors available (CRF Rally, Africa Twin Tricolor, Digital Silver Metallic and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic). Using the rear camera of your smartphone or tablet, it allows you to view your chosen virtual Africa Twin anywhere in the surrounding space, such as your desk, garage, balcony or wherever the camera is pointed.

The Africa Twin app allows you to virtually observe Africa Twin from every angle and in every dimension, change the version and the colour, see the differences and choose the preferred version, observe the main features by scrolling the bottom part of the screen, position the Africa Twin in the surrounding space by clicking the eye-shaped icon on the screen, modify the virtual Africa Twin size, capture the image and share it via social media. Useful for learning about the new Africa Twin and fun to use, the app is already in use at Honda dealers across Europe to allow consumers to learn more about the new maxienduro.

The app is available for IOS and Android by searching for “Africa Twin” in the appropriate store.
