Honda CRF 2016: the new Termignoni has arrivedHonda CRF 2016: the new Termignoni has arrived

Honda CRF2016 – In the range of specific off-road products studied by Termignoni, the jewel in the crown is the exhaust system for the 250 Honda CRF 450 and 2016, developed last season with the official Honda HRC riders. The numerous tests, the careful processing of the materials and the perfect balance of dimensions have made it possible to create a particularly high-performance product both in terms of output, significantly more consistent at low and medium speeds, and in terms of maximum values. Supplied with a removable db killer, the silencer is interchangeable with the original while the exhaust is made of stainless steel with a carbon end cap.

The main changes of the 250 CRF 2016 R revolve around the completely revised cylinder head, piston and connecting rod. THEThe result is high power, particularly at high rpm, with no loss of performance in low-rpm response, throttle sensitivity and delivery. Torque is also improved, both at high and low revs. The exhaust manifold now features a resonance chamber and two internally redesigned tailpipes. The airbox has also been redesigned to improve airflow. The SFF-TAC-Air Showa fork has undergone numerous internal changes which add 5mm of additional blade length to improve precision, responsiveness, steering sensitivity and further adjustability. The rear shock absorber has been recalibrated to adapt to the innovations introduced on the front end. Other changes include a reduction in the diameter of the final drive chain rollers and an improved ability of the new support to not collect mud on the footpegs.

With the innovations introduced in 2015, the Honda CRF450R has received improved power delivery and excellent rear wheel traction from the lowest revs, with maximum power increased thanks to the adoption of a new head, a new exhaust system and optimal tuning of the PGM-FI Dual Fuel injection system, all with HRC specifications. Furthermore, the introduction of Honda's map selection button (EMSB) located on the right side of the handlebars has allowed riders to choose between 3 different riding modes. Mode 1 for a standard combination of ignition and fuel injection maps, Mode 2 for smooth, linear acceleration control and Mode 3 aggressive, responsive and dedicated to the constant expression of maximum power. Given the excellent feedback from the public both in terms of effectiveness and absolute performance, the engine has remained unchanged on the 450 CRF2016R.

The Termignoni exhaust for Honda CRF is on sale at authorized Andreani Group dealers with prices from 780,00 euros excluding VAT.
