Honda: winner of the contest for the best Honda CB650R Custom of 2021 announced [PHOTO]

Over 7.000 people expressed their preference during the contest in which the best one was selected European Honda CB650R Custom of the 2021. An edition in which the Portuguese Mototrofa Honda dealer triumphed with the CB650R Fenix.
The news
La CB650R Fenix, the work of a reality that rose from the ashes after a fire like the legendary phoenix, obtained approximately 29% of the total votes on the portal linked to the initiative.
The outcome of a selection among the best ten CB650R Specials made by dealers in Spain, France and Portugal, originally expected at the Wheels & Waves Festival in Biarritz.
Voting was cast by over 7.000 people and interested parties downloaded a personalized wallpaper for their computer or mobile device. It is still possible to visit the website www.hondacustoms.com to observe the ten finalists of 2021, also drawing inspiration for giving shape to a custom version of the CB650R. An example characterized by a “Neo Sports Café” design and a descending layout of the exhaust manifolds, recalling the CB400F of the Seventies.

The design of the CB650R Fenix appears current, but some components derive from Honda specimens already noticed in the past, such as the front wheel coming from the CBR900RR FireBlade and the single-sided swingarm and the rear wheel from the VFR750F. The customized parts include both the "93" color of Nexx Helmets which pays homage to the champion Marc Marquez, also recalling the year of foundation of Mototrofa; both the rider's seat and the passenger's seat.

Second place CB650R BMX designed by the French Werther Honda. A work which, as indicated by the name, took inspiration from the well-known bicycle. The example is covered with glossy black paint, the fork has a total black look and the rims are gold. The engine crankcases also feature gold-colored inserts and there is a shortened gear ratio and an Akrapovič exhaust system that are functional for style and performance. The picture is completed by whitewall tyres.

Third a short distance away CB650R Four Limited Edition of Espace Motos, only twelve votes less than the second place. A motorcycle that recalls the legendary CB750 Four and covered in a distinctive and original petrol green paint with black and gold inserts which is combined with the Honda '80s logo, so you can also see a raised saddle in brown leather.
