On the occasion of EICMA 2018, the international cycle and motorcycle exhibition, Honda presented the new versions of the CB500F and CB500X, with many aesthetic and technical innovations, but the character remains unchanged.

The Honda CB500F was launched on the market in 2013 as an entry level for beginners, but over time it has become a point of reference for even the most experienced. The new 2019 version changes in aesthetics, thanks to a more aggressive look, and in instrumentation, thanks to a new LCD screen and the Shift-Up gear shift light and the gear indicator.

The engine has also been re-designed but the maximum power of The maximum power is 35 kW (48 HP) at 8.600 rpm and the torque is 43 Nm at 6.500 rpm, which remain unchanged compared to the previous version for allow it to be driven even with an A2 licence. However, the torque curve changes, now more shifted towards medium-low revs. The loading terminal is also new which promises a more 'scratching' sound. The 500 CB2019F is available in the colors: Gran Prix Red, Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic and Pearl Metalloid White.

The same update work was also done on the CB500X, the crossover from the Golden Wing house. Also in this case there have been important updates from the point of view of design and instrumentation. The bike now becomes more enduro-like thanks to a 19'' front wheel. Important updates also on the engine which now boasts better acceleration, also in this case the maximum power, 35kW (48 HP) at 8.600 rpm, and the torque, of 43 Nm at 6.500 rpm, remain unchanged compared to the version previous to stay within the limits of the A2 license.

The 500 CB2019X is available in the colors: Gran Prix Red, Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic and Pearl Metalloid White.
