Update the Honda CB500F, CB500X e CBR500R for the 2022. The interventions concern the technical part, taking into account the chassis and engine.

Considering the small dimensions and a power of 35 kW, the three Honda models from 500 cc they are aimed at a varied clientele that ranges from new faces approaching larger displacement models after having ridden 125 models, but also to motorbike enthusiasts in general. Multiple types for various types of two-wheel lovers.
Since their introduction in 2013, over 106.000 500cc models have been sold in Europe. The CB500F “roadster” is highlighted, considering approximately half of the sales indicated; the more adventurous CB500X recorded around 35% of the total, finally for the sporty CBR500R the percentage was 18%, as reported.

According to research carried out by Honda on a representative sample, the clear attractiveness of each model emerged based on the different demographic classes of enthusiasts. 45% of CB500F and CBR500R owners are novices with age percentages under 34 of 45% and 60% respectively. While over 75% of CB500X owners are expert motorcyclists, to which must be added a further 15% attracted by the features that cater to those who are passionate about exploration, as indicated.

Updates

Together with new graphics and color variations, among the most evident interventions on the front we note in particular the adoption of a Showa SFF-BP fork upside-down stems from 41 mm, associated with new and less heavy ones split-spoke aluminum rims. Also highlighted is the adoption of dual 296mm front discs and Nissin radial mount calipers, considering the naked and sports models, to support dynamism.

The three examples have a lightened swingarm and with greater torsional rigidity, as well as increased lateral flexibility, as a function of handling and grip.
Il 500cc twin-cylinder engine that animates these specimens, finally, results updated in the PGM-FI electronic injection settings, accentuating the torque delivery to offer liveliness of movement. However, the maximum power remains 35 kW.
