Honda and RedMoto together for young offroad lovers

Prizes and the dream of a career in motocross are up for grabs

RedMoto Srl, distributor of the range honda crf in the cross, enduro and supermoto and Montesa Trial versions, it supports and promotes an event that brings the young people in the world of offroad and give the gift of...the dream of a career in Motocross! The opportunity has a name already known to the public: Honda 150 European Championship, a championship that in 2014 will feature a denser calendar than previous editions and with many places available for very young people aged 11 to 14. No less important, the prize for the winner will be identical to that of last year, namely the possibility of racing a season in the EMX250 European Championship with the Official Honda Team.

After the success of the first inaugural year, the Honda 150 European Championship returns with 5 European stages concurrent with the FIM Motocross World Championship: 4 May Valkenswaard (Holland), 25 May Matterley Basin (England), 22 June Teutschenthal (Germany), 6 July Uddevalla (Sweden), 27 July Loket (Czech Republic).

The Honda 150 European Championship represents the first step in Honda's increasingly growing participation in Motocross Grand Prix and aims to help young drivers grow and encourage them emerging. A philosophy embraced by RedMoto which has thus decided to support the promotion of the event.

Participation is open to children between 11 and 14 years old who want to show and hone their skills on the Motocross Grand Prix tracks alongside the MX1 class. But Honda above all wants to develop 4-stroke riding skills from a young age, which are essential for a career in today's Motocross.
The more purely competitive aspect is not missing: the winner of the championship will be "promoted" to the Honda Racing family and rewarded with participation in the EMX250 European Championship on a Honda CRF250R, following in the footsteps of our rider Filippo Grigoletto who became the first Honda 150cc European Champion last year.

To encourage the emergence of pilot talent, all the bikes are identical and strictly controlled, with the aim of having all pilots at the same level and promoting learning. As an official support series to the FIM Motocross World Championship, safety standards and medical support are also at the highest level possible.

Registration for the Championship includes a prepared Honda CRF150R, transport of the bike to the races, technical support with a coach, fuel and tyres. The only thing the drivers have to do is arrive, race and… race to win!
The high level of the Championship will be ensured by a Pre-season training camp. Registrations for the Honda 150 European Championship are open on the official website of the Championship, www.honda150championship.com.
