The Japanese brand underlines the creation of 400 million units of motorcycles and scooters worldwide

A production of 400 million of motorbikes and scooters in the world signed Honda, while remembering the 70 years of history.

A constant evolution

Starting from the first Dream D-Type from 1949 moving forward, there are different generations and innovations applied to the product, which make up an important history of research and progress, also from a sporting point of view.
The brand was founded in 1948. Motorcycle production has become increasingly diversified, distinctive and substantial over time. The combination with competitions appeared fruitful and vital from the beginning, with positive repercussions from an engineering and technological point of view. A winning tradition confirmed again by the annual pilot seal Marc Marquez riding the latest generation of the prototype RC213V, involved in the 2019 season.
The production of motorcycles began after the Second World War, precisely in 1949 starting from the aforementioned Honda Dream D-Type and it was a steady acceleration, arriving in the 1963 at the opening of the first factory outside of Japan in Belgium. So a constant expansion throughout the world, currently evaluating 35 points productive in 25 Countries between Europe, Africa, Americas e Asia. Factories that create a comprehensive overview that ranges from compact scooters 50 cc, to the most high-performance naked, enduro or sports cars, up to products with drive units from 1.800 cc like new GL1800 Goldwing. The brand had already reached the 100 million of means produced in 1997, then in 2014 has touched i 300 million of pieces made. Now the current result at odds 400 million. Among the most recent innovations the latest one stands out CRF1100L Africa Twin, also proposed in version adventure sports, therefore the powerful CBR1000RR-R Fireblade also in version SP.
