Equipped with solutions that ensure adequate ventilation and a functional anti-rain membrane, Hevik has developed a jacket called ikaro. An item of clothing for two-wheel lovers, whose name refers to the well-known character from Greek mythology who tried to fly defying the heat of the sun.
The quality characteristics
Heat is one of the factors considered in the creation of this approved jacket prEN 17092, which certifies its safety also considering the viscoelastic protectors with level 1 CE approval that embrace the shoulders and elbows, therefore a provision for a precious back protector. A jacket offered at a retail price of 189,90 euros, as reported.
Available in multiple sizes, variants including the smallest S to the generous 4XL, you can choose it in fluorescent yellow, gray and black colors, as reported in the released press release.
The fit is facilitated by the same hook and loop adjustments located at the wrists, together with the elasticated solution at the waist. Ikaro is made of a polyester fabric to facilitate the aforementioned ventilation, with specific mesh areas located on the inside of the sleeves, chest and back. In case of rain the functional membrane HUMAX waterproof and breathable, able to resist up to a water column of 10.000 mm as well as being wearable under or over the jacket, it provides further protection from wet conditions, following the instructions provided. A new garment proposed by Hevik for all so-called scooter riders or motorcyclists, looking for a versatile jacket to tackle various journeys in the city and even outside.
