Helmo Milano: many new features in the 2018 collection

Helmo Milan – From the collaboration between Helmo Milan e Iuter, one of the reference brands in the streetwear world, the helmet was born Demi-Jet Tibetan Tiger Rug with Iuter's iconic graphic representing the Tibetan carpet in the shape of a tiger, used in Buddhist culture to protect those who are defenseless because they are praying. But that is not all. The inside of the helmet is printed with orange and black shades, colors that characterize the entire Iuter SS18 "Mirage" collection. The helmet features the Iuter logos on the sides and the tone-on-tone Helmo logos are sewn on the Bluetooth-enabled side cheek pads. The model is equipped with a long lexan visor. In addition to the helmet, a set of stickers and a Tiger Rug key ring are included in the packaging. The first batch of limited edition helmets immediately sold out on the Iuter Online Store and in the Iuter Store Milan.

Helmo Milano: here is the new modular FuoriRotta

The news at Helmo Milano are not limited to the special series created by Iuter. In fact, there is also the innovative on the way out OffRoute, the new helmet that is positioned at the top of the range. Created by the well-known designer Rodolfo Frascoli, this helmet was created to combine the best qualities of a jet and those of a full face. The design is that of a jet which, however, becomes an integral one thanks to the large chin guard that lowers with a simple gesture. Comfort is guaranteed by the extreme fit, thanks to the flexibility of the cheek pads; with extraordinary lightness; from the freshness of the "Hypercool" internal shell with 16 ventilation channels and the safety of the standard Pinlock system. FuoriRotta, in short, makes versatility its best asset. Suitable for those looking for full protection, it is also perfect for those who ride maxi-scooters, naked, custom and enduro. The shell has a metal grill to allow hot air to escape and fresh air to enter, but the special removable transparent protection plates prevent water from entering in case of rain. When closed, FuoriRotta is equipped with a large transparent visor (also available in smoke) with Pinlock. When open, with the visor raised, the chin guard acts as a sun visor. Thanks to the careful study of the rotation angle, it avoids the sail effect. The low weight (just 1300 grams) makes it suitable for city driving, but also on longer journeys. The breathable interiors are in hypoallergenic velvety nappa, removable, washable and with detachable cheek pads. The neck roll is removable with a zip. There is therefore the possibility of further lightening your helmet by removing the cheek pads and neck roll in summer. Lightness and comfort are the key principles of this choice. It should be underlined that the cheek pads are designed for the insertion of Bluetooth. The closure has micrometric adjustment and quick release. The strap fastening on the left cheek pad makes it easier to put on the helmet and prevents the strap from rubbing on the throat. There is also a steel anti-theft ring on the strap. FuoriRotta is available in four colors: Pearl White, Matt Black, Matt Anthracite, and Yellow Race Carbon Decal. The latter, with carbon-look inserts also on the chin guard, as well as in the Pinlock area. The price for the Italian market is 159 euros, very interesting if you consider the many solutions offered.

Helmo Milano: the other news from the 2018 range

In addition to the historic models Pure, EOS e Hardskin, 2018 brought a series of innovations to the Helmo Milano collection. The first is called Boldness, a vintage "Easy Rider" style jet helmet, with high shell on the sides, peak, and helicopter-style visor available in different shades. Audace is available in three versions: Audace Monza, in the Matt Black, Matt Anthracite and Shiny White colours; Audace Silverstone in Matt Nero embellished with a central stripe in black leather and Audace Daytona in Matt Nero with orange stripes, for a true custom look typically "born in the USA".
