Helbiz, ParkSense: a parking verification solution for micro-mobility vehicles

Announced by Helbiz the release of the technological platform Park Sense, powered by artificial intelligence, through which to check parking spaces. A solution integrated into the app linked to Helbiz and available for sale to other micro-mobility operators, as reported.

The ParkSense technology platform

The solution can provide a response in less than a second in 95% of cases and requires no hardware. Helbiz and the operators that will implement it can select environmental factors for adaptability to each city where it is implemented, according to the information.
Compared to location data alone, Park Sense consider the photo of the parked vehicle by the driver at the end of the journey. The technological platform can examine various conditions, for example whether the vehicle is parked correctly, whether it represents an obstacle along a pedestrian path or for access to a commercial activity and whether it is parked correctly. Aspects that are difficult to verify with the sole use of GPS data, from what was communicated on the occasion.
