Helbiz, reality operating in micro-mobility, continues its road civic education activities and, on the very day in which many Italian children return to school, launches the new initiative "Beginner".

Information

The “Beginner” initiative is added to the national campaign road civic education scheduled for this September in schools and dedicated to micromobility promoted by Helbiz, providing the right information and tools on the correct use of the vehicle.
Helbiz highlights that all vehicles are equipped with insurance and, in every place where it operates, the company works alongside the police to promote safety.
Furthermore, the difference between sharing scooters and private scooters is highlighted. Speaking of sharing scooters, they are constantly monitored and cannot be tampered with in any way, they are insured and the speeds are pre-established. The situation changes when it comes to private scooters managed by their respective owners.
Returning to “Beginner” mode, the training course for the safe and correct use of the electric scooter for those who will get on it for the first time will start with this method. A speed reduced to is expected for the first three races 15 km/h it's a physical control of the parking lot through a Helbiz employee, who will verify the correctness of the operation. This mode complements the digital one already present, which crosses the geolocation data with the photo of the car park taken by the user, to then proceed with blocking the vehicle.
Since safety is important, the “Beginner” mode will be set automatically for everyone and can be removed manually by the user, except for those who are just using the vehicle.
