Helbiz e Telepass have signed an agreement through which it will be possible to rent a Helbiz electric scooter and pay the cost of the rides with TelepassPay, the innovative app that also allows the payment of blue lines, fuel, car tax and much more, and which will be enriched with this new solution.

Helbiz and Telepass together for mobility

Accessing the service is very simple. Simply access the Telepass Pay app and accept the Helbiz service conditions to rent scooters without leaving the application. In fact, for each completed route, the user will view the transactions - without additional costs - directly on Telepass Pay, paying at the end of the month together with all the other services used. “The integration of Helbiz within Telepass Pay is a further step forward with a view to offering increasingly efficient, safe and easy-to-use smart-mobility services - highlights Luca Mazzetta, Country Manager of Helbiz Italia -. The possibility of using a platform that is already successfully used in many other mobility fields represents an essential element of simplification for those who, like Helbiz, aim to innovate personal transport”. The agreement between Helbiz and Telepass will initially allow you to take advantage of the free unlocking of the electric scooter (equal to 1 euro per ride), paying only the per minute rate of 15 cents. The common objective of the two companies is to encourage the development of intermodal options in urban centres. With a single Telepass account, for example, users in Milan and other cities where the service will soon be available will be able to enter the restricted traffic zones by car, pay for parking on the blue lines and rent a Helbiz scooter to complete the so-called last mile.
