The announcement was made at the end of June and is destined to be a trailblazer for companies in the sector. Suzuki Motor Corporation has announced the launch of two large-displacement motorcycles on the Chinese market by the manufacturing and sales joint venture company Jinan Qingqi Suzuki Motorcycle Co., Ltd and the commercial subsidiary Suzuki Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd.

The increase in the incomes of the local population and the consequent change in lifestyles is determining year after year a different use of the motorcycle which from a means of transport is increasingly becoming a leisure tool capable of providing pleasant emotions. Suzuki wants to respond pioneeringly to this new demand by introducing in China two large-displacement models previously marketed mainly in Europe and North America.

This is the sportbike Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R and Suzuki Boulevard M109R, an 1800 cc custom sports car with an original design (in Europe known as the Intruder). Marketing will initially be entrusted to a dealership in Beijing and two in Shanghai, but the sales network will be progressively expanded and will mainly involve the large cities which are expected to drive demand.
