The usual style combined with high technology

Finally the wait is over. Harley-Davidson officially announced, together with the first images, the return of the historic one Road glide. «Il Road glide has always had an incredibly passionate following – said Matt Levatich, President and Chief Operating Officer of Harley-Davidson – Which is why its return is particularly exciting for our customers and for the Motor Company. Thanks to the technology of Project Rushmore, intuitive features and unmistakable new style, we offer high-level guidance for Road Glide loyalists and for many other motorcyclists looking for new ones Project Rushmore models».

The profile of the car remained very close to the classic one, with the traditional "shark nose" clearly evident. This is a motorcycle designed for long journeys and you can understand this just from the enormous amount of technology it is equipped with. The design has been enriched with a triple Splitstream air intake to significantly reduce head shaking, always ensuring comfortable airflow. Lighting is instead guaranteed by the headlights with Dual Daymaker LED reflective optics. The Infotainment system is the Boom!TM Box 6.5GT, positioned in the center of the internal fairing, with touchscreen and GPS navigation system that can be controlled by the joysticks located on the new handlebar mounted in a rearward position, which guarantees the motorcyclist a comfortable command position.

From a mechanical point of view, the engine is a Twin Cam 103 V-Twin enriched by two chrome exhausts. The Touring version is completed by rigid side bags that open with a simple touch, Cruise Control and easy-to-read indicators. For greater driving safety, the Road Glide Special is equipped with an ABS system combined with Reflex electronic control.

Pricing is still unknown, but it is expected to debut in dealerships next year.
