Everything is ready to Prague to celebrate the 115th year of life of Harley-Davidson. Such an important milestone must be celebrated in style and so the American company has decided to organize three unmissable days of celebration, from 5 to 8 July.

Harley-Davidson and Prague: a centuries-old history

It will be the celebration of motorcyclists and the passion for two wheels, an event designed for all those who perfectly remember the freedom they enjoyed the first time they took to the streets on two wheels. And it is also for those who have gone beyond: the generations of fathers, sons, mothers, brothers, sisters and friends who started their engines and followed their dreams of freedom on two wheels. And motorcyclists will come to Prague from all over the world. The night before the official start of the celebrations, Prague lights up with the music of the Rolling Stones thanks to a stop on their No Filter tour. But the music continues for the entire duration of the event with bluegrass, reggae, rap and artists from the Czech-Slovak scene acting as the soundtrack. Harley-Davidson is a brand with a very long history in Bohemia and it is no coincidence that Prague itself hosts one of the oldest Harley clubs in the world: the local Harley-Davidson Club Praha has in fact existed for 90 years. An anniversary that will be adequately celebrated on Czechoslovak Island, an area where the protagonists will be the food, beer and music of the place.

Harley-Davidson: a party full of events

In addition to music, there will be many events linked more closely to the world of motorbikes. The Custom Bike showdown will see the main European special manufacturers competing head-to-head with their best creations. A special collection of Harley motorcycles will instead be on display at the Expo, with the task of taking visitors on an evocative interactive journey through the history of HD since its origins, way back in 1903. But on the scene there will also be the new 2018 range with the new Sportster Forty-Eight Special and 1200 Iron, with the possibility of driving all models thanks to the Demo Truck HD. Since the Prague event coincides with the European Muaythai (Thai Boxing) Championship, a series of matches promoted by the Czech Muaythai Association will feature the superstar Buakaw Benchamek and will culminate in the HD Gala Muaythai Party on the evening of Friday 6 July. On Saturday 7th traffic was blocked in the city for the big parade which will see thousands of Harley-Davidson motorbikes parading along the streets of the historic center of Prague.
