A new Revolution® Max engine
Introduced ad EICMA the new Harley-Davidson® Pan America™, together with the model Bronx™. Two innovations driven by an unprecedented drive unit Revolution® Max, made in different displacements.
Pan America™
An example Adventure touring, the first from the American brand, recognizable by its characteristic luminous signature and a bold and imposing, refined and muscular layout, together with a chassis developed with its use in mind. The power is produced by a Revolution®Max 1250, liquid cooled, capable of delivering force more than 145 horses e more than 122 Nm of torque, as indicated.
The other news
La Bronx™ it is a medium-sized Streetfighter, visually bold but also sinuous. In this case the new Revolution® Max it's kind of 975 always liquid cooled, which develops a power that exceeds 115 horsepower e over 94 Nm of maximum torque, still considering what has been reported.
Moving on to the new engine, it is a V-Twin di 60%, with double throttle body and increased air flow, in addition to the already mentioned liquid cooling. There are two cubic sizes: 76 cubic inches, or 1250 cc combined with the Harley-Davidson® Pan America™ and 59 cubic inches, 975 cc, which animates the Harley-Davidson® Bronx™. It figures as the cornerstone of the project, developed with in mind “flexible performance with a wide power range at high performance”. Power, related to a calibrated weight and a vibration attenuation action connected to a balancing countershaft. Both models are expected at the end of 2020, as reported.
