Powered by the new Revolution® Max engine

Two new creations of the Adventure Touring and Streetfighter types were presented at the important international exhibition, both powered by a new V-Twin engine

Two new examples, as well as an engine, which prefigure an expansion of Harley-Davidson® in other segments. To EICMA the debut of the new ones took place Pan America™ e Bronx™, both animated by a drive unit Revolution® Max, developed in different displacements.

The newness

Together with the varied overview of New Products 2020 enriched by the success of FXGTS Coast Glide of Battle of the Kings 2019, the brand of Milwaukee introduced two interesting proposals animated by a thruster V-Twin di 60%, with double throttle body with maximized airflow e liquid cooling. An engine developed in two different sizes: from 76 cubic inches corresponding to 1250 cc and linked to Harley-Davidson® Pan America™; so from 59 cubic inches, or 975 cc, associated with Harley-Davidson® Bronx™. Specimens expected at the end of 2020, as reported on the occasion.
The collaboration with international specialists is also important, when it comes to braking systems and compounds. Specifically with Brembo®, giving shape to a new four-piston monobloc radial caliper functional for every type of stretch; then with Michelin® for the creation of dedicated tires to maximize the cycling qualities of the models.

Harley-Davidson® Bronx™

A new recognizable medium-sized Streetfighter with a refined but at the same time gritty appearance. What pushes it, as mentioned, is the new Revolution®Max 975 liquid-cooled that offers a power more than 115 horses e over 94 Nm of maximum torque, following the indications.

Harley-Davidson® Pan America™

This Adventure Touring is equally new. A segment still unexplored by the Milwaukee brand. The light signature and the overall setting are peculiar, rather refined and rocky, with a chassis designed to tackle multiple types of routes. The new is connected to it Revolution®Max 1250, always liquid cooled, which develops power more than 145 horses and a couple who exceeds 122 Nm, as reported.

The engine

The new Revolution® Max, taking up again what was communicated, is a key element and has been studied aiming at “flexible performance with a wide power range at high performance”. An alchemy of forces also linked to an optimized weight, in addition to the action of a balancing countershaft which attenuates vibrations.
