Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide Revival: homage to the legendary '50s [PHOTO and VIDEO]
Fourth model of the Icons series for 2024
Harley-Davidson has unveiled a new motorcycle that pays homage to the past of the American company and in particular to Hydra-Glide, an iconic model launched 75 years ago characterized by its originality telescopic fork.

And the fourth model of the company is dedicated to the Hydra-Glide special and limited edition series Icons which once again allows us to travel through time, projecting us back to 1949 when Harley-Davidson decided to change the way we perceive and use the motorcycle with the introduction of the fork on the F and E models. What was a historic stage for today the American company is celebrated with the Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide Revival, an exaltation of details in pure 50s style, which will be produced in 1.750 specimens, all numbered according to the dictates of the annual Icons Motorcycle Collection program. The exclusive motorbike is offered in Italy at price of 34.700 €.
With custom Redline Red paint
Inspired by the Hydra models produced between 1954 and 1956, Harley-Davidson designers created a Revival version aesthetically characterized by the exclusive Redline Red color with Birch White band on the sides of the tank. On the latter you can see the chrome “Harley-Davidson V” badges, while the “Hydra-Glide” writing has been applied to the sides of the front mudguard.
Other distinctive elements are the serial number on the handlebar plate, the Icons Motorcycle Collection graphics on the rear mudguard, the instruments with 50s graphics, the removable two-tone windshield measuring 53,3 cm high and with the lower part in Redline Red, the cover round chrome air filter and chrome steel rims. There polished chrome finish It then characterizes the mudguards, engine guard, fork covers, engine unit and exhaust. To complete the retro look there is the saddle with decorated and frayed leather edge, contrasting white and red stitching and chrome stirrup.
94 HP engine and modern equipment
This Revival is built on the Softail chassis and features Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine that develops 94 CV of power e 156 Nm of maximum torque. The Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide Revival's equipment includes a series of modern technologies, such as the monoshock adjustable from under the seat, LED auxiliary lights, ABS and electronic cruise control.
