Harley-Davidson European HOG Rally: a strong passion in the 2022 edition

The return of the event Harley-Davidson® European HOG® Rally was enriched again by the roar of the V-twin engines. From the 9 12 2022 June, members of the Harley Owners Group® (HOG®), Harley-Davidson® enthusiasts and other two-wheel enthusiasts met in the Slovenian town of Portorož.

The coastal town has become the center of a great passion for two wheels, almost a kilometer of coast has become a parking area for various specimens and an evocative kaleidoscope of chrome finishes and colors that will be remembered for a long time.
Among the attractions was the opportunity to see and touch the latest 2022 Harley-Davidson models at the Harley-Davidson Expo, taking a demo ride on the surrounding streets. Harley-Davidson dealers from five countries took part in the event, as well as more than 25 dealers from various areas of the Old Continent.
They took part in the demonstration 47.000 visitors, counting more than 17.000 bikes. More than 2.500 bikes participated in the Harley-Davidson parade on Saturday 11 June on the route in via Capodistria, admired by the local population on the sides of the road along the route.
Also present at the event was Karen Davidson, daughter of Willie G. Davidson and great-granddaughter of William A. Davidson, one of the four co-founders of Harley-Davidson, who came from Wisconsin (USA) to welcome enthusiasts and sign autographs. The Custom Bike Show took place Friday at the historic Salt Warehouse, now a motorcycle art gallery, with 55 entries from eight countries. The winner was the Italian Mirko Perugini, who won both the Best in Show and the People's Choice Award for his Harley-Davidson 45 classic, customized and in aqua green.
The characteristic aspects also include more than nine hours with daily musical shows and a unique fireworks show scheduled on Saturday evening, at the end of the event.
