Harley-Davidson, European Bike Week: a party with around 80.000 present in Faak am See

La European Bike Week® took place in an Austrian location between days 6 e 11 September 2022. The village of Faak am See it was the destination of around 80.000 people and over 50.000 motorbikes, present to celebrate Harley-Davidson® and the passion for two wheels with guest of honor Bill Davidson, director of the Harley-Davidson Museum™ and vice president of Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Bill is also the great-grandson of one of the company's founders, William A. Davidson, as mentioned.

The European Motorcycle Week is scheduled again in Faak am See from 5 to 10 September 2023. Among the novelties of the 2022 edition was theEV Zones, in which together with the tests of electric bikes LiveWire© One™ e Serial 1, Ford examples were exhibited, specifically the Mustang Mach-E and the fully electric Transit, which is also capable of charging a Harley-Davidson® LiveWire© motorcycle.

In the Customizer area, on Friday there was the Custom Bike Shows sponsored by Metzeler. In the six categories, around 40 custom creations were registered, trophies were awarded for the Best in Category, the People's Choice and the Best in Show, the latter won by the Italian Mirko Perugini, who won a trophy with the Harley-Davidson tank custom painted and a set of Metzeler tires.

On the roads around Villach and Ossiacher See, in the parade on Saturday 10.000 motorcyclists were the protagonists, welcomed by the locals, as reported. Also awarded a pair of tickets to take part in Harley-Davidson 120th Anniversary Festival in Budapest, Hungary, scheduled from 22 to 25 June 2023.

The center of the event was theHarley Village, a space of approximately 40.000 m2 where fourteen authorized Harley-Davidson dealers from across Europe and numerous other dealers showcased various models, accessories and clothing. Furthermore, more than 30 bands on two stages enriched the event with musical moments.

Among the novelties of the HD EXPO also the preview of the new creation linked to the Icons Collection, the Harley-Davidson® Low Rider® El Diablo, launched on September 1st and limited to just 1.500 units. In front of the EXPO, the event's automotive partner Ford displayed the new Ford Bronco and a Ford Mustang in police dress. For much of the week, there was also a notable influx of visitors to the HD Demo Zone with two new experiences: the Revolution Max Experience and the off-road Adventure Riding Experience. Personalized tours are on the program and including, in the case of the Adventure Experience, off-road training on the Pan America™ 1250 by Bosnian Rally participant Ralf “Ralle” Wiesenfaller and Dakar expert Mick Extance.
