Harley-Davidson CVO: four new limited-production premium models [PHOTO]

Exclusivity and attention to every aspect are peculiar characteristics of the specimens Harley-Davidson® CVO™ (Custom Vehicle Operations™). Four new models have been introduced, a production that represents the pinnacle of the American brand's aesthetic, technical and technological expressiveness. New features have been introduced for 2022: CVO™ Road Glide® Limited, CVO™ Street Glide®, CVO™ Road Glide® e CVO™ Tri Glide®. Each example is equipped with distinctive colours, artisanal details, cutting-edge technological solutions and a push-button engine Milwaukee-Eight® 117.

The new models

Among the notable features stand out a safety technology Harley-Davidson Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements, the audio system Harley-Davidson® premium powered by Rockford Fosgate® e Boom!™ Audio 30K Bluetooth® helmet headset.
For 2022, as mentioned, the grouping includes a hot rod bagger CVO Street Glide characterized by a bat-wing fairing silhouette; CVO Road Glide which is recognizable by the shark-nose fairing that stands out on the fork, the double LED headlight and a distinctive 21-inch front rim; CVO Road Glide Limited, another luxurious example offering long-range performance and comfort with a premium audio system, heated seat and grips; Therefore CVO Tri Glide, an exclusive and distinctive trike recognizable by its third wheel.
Going into detail, CVO Street Glide features headlights Daymaker Adaptive LED (an advanced lighting system with patented sensors and electronics integrated into the headlight for the management of 12 additional LED lights), new decorative inserts and cover of the propulsion part in burnished chrome, also highlighting a Blue Steel paint option. Moving on to CVO Road Glide, together with the features already mentioned, we also note a lighting system with Dual Daymaker LED headlight with white light and all LED type lights, as well as new Scorched Chrome decorative finishes and powertrain cover in Scorched Chrome, with painting options including Blue Steel, Wicked Orange Pearl/Black Hole with Lightning Silver Two-Tone and Bright Chrome finish, then Envious Green with Black Hole Fade and with Flame Pattern and Gloss Black finish. The extension of the front fairing is connotative, as is the aforementioned Combo front rim 21 inches (the only Touring example with a wheel of this kind as standard), associated with the rear one from 18 inches. A cast aluminum rim and woven spokes for a roaring and exclusive look, including tire pressure control. We also worked on the suspensions for handling and braking performance.
We then highlight the adoption of heated grips from the Kahuna™ collection associated with the Kahuna™ gear shift pegs, the brake knob cover, the muffler end caps and the footpegs intended for the rider and passenger. Features listed also include a low-profile console with CVO light, a Screamin' Eagle® Heavy Breather air filter and a splitstream vent to limit airflow to the rider's helmet.
Continuing with CVO Road Glide Limited, as mentioned, this is an example of valuable exclusivity for those who have a passion for long motorbike trips. Highlights include a Dual Daymaker LED headlight with full LED lighting system, new finishes and decorative inserts, as well as new paint options, leaning towards Wicked Orange Pearl/Black Hole with Lightning Silver Two-Tone and Bright Chrome finishes, or Hightail Yellow Pearl/Black Hole with Lightning Silver Two-Tone and Bright Chrome trim, then again Dante's Red and Dante's Black Sunglo Fade Flame Pattern and gloss black trim. Also new is the Harley-Davidson powered by Rockford Fosgate Stage I audio system.
The fairing includes splistream ventilation to limit the buffeting effect and also features heated grips from the Kahuna™ collection with rider and passenger footpegs, brake and exhaust terminal covers from the same collection, as well as a heated seat with dual control rider/passenger area for greater comfort in cold weather. The rims are custom Tomahawk™.
Finally the trike CVO Tri Glide with new Dante's Red and Dante's Black Sunglo Fade Flame Pattern paint options and Bright Chrome finishes, new inserts and decorative details and a new Harley-Davidson audio system powered by Rockford Fosgate Stage I. The lighting system is completely LED and they also feature a heated seat with dual-zone rider/passenger control and Tomahawk Contrast Cut die-cast aluminum rims.

Technology

Among the technological solutions combined with the CVO specimens, in addition to the lighting systems and a system Harley-Davidson® Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate®, also stand out a security system Harley-Davidson Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements which represents a grouping of electronic solutions with innovative chassis control, electronic brake control and powertrain. Motor

The examples are all equipped with the powerful engine Milwaukee-Eight® 117, a unit with the displacement and torque values ​​plus others found as standard on Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
The displacement amounts to 1.923 cc (117 cubic inches) and this heart features a heavy breather camshaft and intake system, both high performance with the filter element exposed to converge more air to the engine. The exhaust system is also high performance and maximizes engine thrust.
They stand out 171 Nm of torque at 3.750 rpm for the CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide and 170 Nm of torque at 3.500 rpm for CVO Road Glide Limited and CVO Tri Glide.
