Piaggio Group: range of three-wheeled vehicles in India compliant with the new Bharat Stage VI regulation

The update

The Group's choice is varied in the transport sector dedicated to the so-called “last mile”, considering the transfer of people or goods. And emissions are a factor considered during design, anticipating the update to avoid repercussions from a production point of view and consequently in sales, always considering what has been reported.
Considering the same specimens, the proposal cargo the variant is updated by considering a more hospitable cabin passenger features new doors designed to promote greater safety for passengers. The diesel-powered vehicles are equipped with a new control unit and drive unit 599 cc, a new aluminum clutch and five-speed gearbox; while those powered by alternative fuels are equipped with an innovative transmission system for this segment as well as a technological engine 230 cc with three valves, as indicated.
