Givi integral 40.5 X-Fiber and X-Carbon - Carbon, a word that alone is worth a fortune (in terms of economic weight), if it concerns the purchase of a helmet, for example. We've been waiting a long time to see a carbon helmet from Givi, an Italian company that produces excellent quality products, but which was missing in this market segment. In fact the debut of the 40.5 fills a gap, but also repositions the brand upwards, putting it in competition with the best competitors, with an extensive and very complete range. The image that was fixed on the idea that it produced purely "citizen" products, the classic jets and demi-jets to be used for the home-office route, is changing, moving on to that also linked to activity on the track, or in any case to more sporty use of your two wheels.

Givi in fact, at the show Milan EICMA 2016, presented the brand new 40.5, a helmet equipped with a carbon fiber or composite fiber shell, which make it a high-end, light and safe full-face helmet. Presented in two different versions: X-Carbon and X-Fiber, it immediately became the jewel in the crown in the vast Givi catalogue. All technical features are shared: two caps for the various sizes, all very comfortable to wear, high-performance ventilation system with particular ducting, removable interior in hypoallergenic fabric, pinlock predisposition, anti-scratch visors, double visor (internal sun visor), double ring closure and removable nose guard. Those who have tried it highlight incredible comfort, even after hours of use, thanks to micro-perforations made on the sponges.

The differences between the two models are found in the external colours, but above all in the material used for the shell, which then affects the weight (about 100 grams less for carbon, with a loss of 1.210/1.250 versus 1.310/1.350 for fiber). X-Carbon has a very modern style, with fluorescent colors to highlight the carbon texture, while X-Fiber focuses on bolder shades and an eye-catching mix of glossy and opaque colours.
