GIVI: with the TanklockED system the bag is even safer

GIVI has always meant safety and innovation. The new product launched by the brand is also characterized by practicality. The popular system - patented by GIVI - which allows you to attach the bag to the fuel cap is, in fact, now available in the new version TanklockED, equipped with lock. The upgrade is currently available on three new bag models: the ST605 from the Sport-T range and the UT809 and UT 810 from the Ultima-T line.

The idea of ​​screwing a flange to the tank cap did not initially meet the approval of enthusiasts and then there was the problem of compatibility: the flanges had to be designed to adapt perfectly to the different motorcycle models and it took some time to arrive to cover a good number of naked, sports and tourist bikes.
The goodness of the project, however, was undeniable: the Tanklock was an alternative to any other fastening system on the market (straps, bottoms, magnets), allowing the bag to be mounted and detached in a second, simply by acting on a lever. The extreme ease and speed of release represents unparalleled comfort at stops for refueling or for a quick break, but also a temptation for criminals.

With TanklockED GIVI adds greater security to the system by providing it with key lock. The lock allows you to extract the key even in the open position, not requiring its use every time the bag needs to be unhooked but only when it is left unattended on the motorbike. Through the SL102-103 and 105 kits it is possible to use the same key with two, three or five GIVI accessories equipped with Security Lock.
