Four Points Festival: towards the event for two-wheel and adventure enthusiasts in Croatia

The first edition of the Four Points Festival is expected from 23 al 26 September 2021 a Umagin Croatia. An experience that unites a desire for adventure and a passion for camping and motorbikes.

Il Four Points Festival It attracts lovers of two-wheel travel who love to explore and make new friends. An initiative where you can also enjoy camping life, being able to opt between different solutions in the Stella Maris campsite. There are three possibilities: basic camping in the Open Camp area, camping at the Main Camp or Mobile Homes. Among the services offered include pitches for parking motorbikes and a mechanic and tire shop near the campsite. More information can be found on the Four Points Festival website.
An event designed for motorcyclists, keeping in mind the motto #WeComeToRide, i.e. "We come to ride". Participants can travel and get to know Istria or participate in different riding activities. The organization will indicate various distributed points where you can stop and have water and snacks. Constant assistance is guaranteed during the festival, as reported.

Participants will plan their days by choosing each day what to do among the planned activities:

1. ADVENTURE | OFF-ROAD AND MIXED ON/OFF ROUTES
A series of activities dedicated to adventure motorbikes, dual sport and enduro motorbikes with license plate and insurance. 5 itineraries starting from and returning to base camp ranging from pure off-road, between sand, mud and earth, to asphalt routes with a few kilometers on dirt roads, suitable for motorcyclists of any experience level: coastal itinerary, mountain itinerary, itinerary of the valleys, historical itinerary or the “Istria Triangle” itinerary.
2. TOURING | ROUTES ON ASPHALT
To fully enjoy the curves, incredible views and historic villages of Istria. These are routes that go from the coast to the mountains and which, if desired, can also reach the nearby islands. These itineraries will be available via GPS tracks for all those who have purchased a festival ticket but it will be necessary to choose a slot and book.
3. GUIDED TOURS
In September in Istria it is harvest and truffle hunting season. It is a special opportunity to come into contact with the history and traditions of the place. At the Four Points Festival it will in fact be possible to take part in guided tours, obviously always on horseback, to discover the best restaurants, vineyards and truffle markets. You will visit cities such as Motovun, Rovinj, Pula, Groznjan and many others, each with its own history and characteristics, or you can choose to start from the coast and reach the mountains inland on a guided tour to discover the Croatian territory.
4. WE COME TO RIDE | THE MAIN EVENT
A challenge between motorcyclists based on route planning. You can compete in a group or individually and participants will be divided into two classes: with motorbikes over 700cc or with motorbikes under 700cc. Having established 24 points of interest scattered throughout the entire territory of Istria, each of which with a symbolic value ranging from 1 to 5 points, the challenge consists in collecting the greatest number of points possible in 6 hours. It will be necessary to plan the ideal route taking into account the weather, unexpected events and the value of the 24 places.
5. ENDURO AND CIRCUITS
For all enduro lovers at the Four Points Festival there will be two circuits reserved for event ticket holders. The first circuit is located in the nearby town of Tar, while the second is near Pazin, in central Istria. Technical teaching sessions for beginners and advanced pilots are also planned, and there will be dedicated areas to test your technical skills in the woods. Furthermore, to reach the circuits you can choose to travel along beautiful dirt roads to have fun even during the transfer from the festival area to the two circuits.
6. SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
The Four Points Festival is not just road touring or off-road exploration, but also special activities! Skill challenges, time trials, basic and advanced level on and off road driving schools, two-wheel survival courses, meetings with exceptional guests, seminars and much more! The Base Camp of the event will be set up in the areas of the ATP Croatia tennis tournament and Camping Stella Maris in Umag, Croatia.
