For Sym scooters the warranty is now 4 years

Sym aims to win over customers by focusing everything on the quality of its products, offering the extension of the warranty by 4 years on scooters over 50 cm3 in the 2014 range; in addition also 4 years of roadside assistance and all included in the purchase price of the vehicle.

The promotion is valid from February and the 4 year or 100 thousand km warranty is managed directly by Sanyang Italia srl, without any insurance intermediary, and works in the same way as that of the first two years required by law. The only constraint for the customer, the compliance with maintenance intervals as prescribed by the manufacturer, to keep the scooter in the best condition.

It's called instead “Mechanical Failures” by Motoplatinum, the warranty extension for anyone who purchased a Sym vehicle before 13 January 2014 or now intends to purchase any vehicle from the 2013 range or one from the 2014 range which is not included in the 4-year offer. It is valid for one year and can be extended up to the vehicle's sixth year of age covers the eventuality of any mechanical problem.
